Friends Of Mothers

This coffee is produced by Friends of Mothers, a women‑led collective of 500 farmers cultivating coffee on the slopes of Mount Elgon in Uganda’s Mbale District. Established in 2015, the group was formed to strengthen women’s participation in coffee production through shared resources, training, and market access.

Grown at high elevations in rich volcanic loam soils, this coffee is fully washed, carefully dried on raised beds, and prepared with attention to traceability and quality from farm to export. The lot is Fair Trade (FLO) and Organically Grown , reflecting a commitment to sustainable agriculture and transparent supply chains.
